Yes, it works with all Gemini conversations on gemini.google.com, including regular chats, Deep Research reports, and Gemini Advanced conversations. It only works on the official Gemini web app, not API responses or other interfaces.
All processing happens entirely within your Chrome browser. The extension reads the Gemini page DOM, processes it using local JavaScript libraries, and generates the export file directly in your browser. No data is ever sent to our servers — in fact, we don't have servers for processing chat data.
The extension requires access to gemini.google.com (to read your conversation), storage (to save your preferences locally), and downloads (to save exported files). The Google Drive sync feature optionally requires the identity permission for OAuth. We only request the minimum permissions necessary.
Yes, there's no hard limit on conversation length. However, very long conversations (hundreds of turns) may take a few seconds to process for PDF or image exports. Text-based formats like Markdown, JSON, and CSV are extremely fast regardless of length.

You can add individual conversations to a "merge queue" by clicking "Add to Merge" on any chat. Once you've queued up the conversations you want (up to 20), open the extension popup, arrange them in your desired order, and click "Merge & Export." The result is a single document combining all selected conversations.
No, Google Drive sync is completely optional. The extension works perfectly without any cloud integration — exports are simply downloaded to your local Downloads folder. If you choose to connect Google Drive, you authenticate via Google's official OAuth flow and can disconnect at any time.
All local settings and cached data (merge queue, preferences, templates) are automatically deleted when you uninstall the extension. There's nothing stored on our servers to delete because we never received it. Your exported files on your device or Drive remain untouched.
